Great Low Light Digital Cameras Under $100
Finding a good low light digital camera can be difficult, finding one for under 100 bucks can be impossible. Up until recently, low cost entry level digital cameras have lacked the ISO sensitivity to take a quality low light shot. We searched high and low to find two excellent models that can indeed take quality low light shots. The Winner for best Value: While the GE has slightly better specs, the Samsung SL30 is a better value because the image quality was simply better. The Samsung SL30 is capable of up to 10.2 mega pixels and has all the features you could want on a low cost entry level camera. It has a high (up to 1600 ISO) sensitivity that will give great low light shots. Best of all, this camera can be had for only 80 bucks! The Samsung SL30 is a solid camera by a name brand we all know. Despite the low price, the SL30 has features you would no expect like auto face recognition, Digital image stabilization 3x zoom and good 1600 ISO sensitivity which comes in handy when you want to take those pesky low light shots. This great little camera even has a movie mode which can take up to 2 hours of MPEG footage. Like the GE below, this is also a solid camera for new digital photographers. If you like this camera, I highly recommend you pick one up FAST because retailers have a hard time keeping it in stock.

The GE E1235 is a solid 12.1 Mega Pixel digital camera that has lots of features at an extreme low price. Despite the rock bottom price, the E1235 has features like auto face recognition, Digial image stabalization 3x zoom and best of all a high 3200 ISO sensitivity for those tricky low light shots that aren’t easy to capture with a camera at this price. This is an excellent overall camera for those either starting out in digital photography or for those who cannot fit a more expensive camera into their budgets.
