    Thanks for the information, however when I click on the free shipping to link over, this is what I get:

    chanel exception has occurred:

    No block found given name.
    block(s)=[straight.bright_point.landing]

    Any ideas on how to get free shipping without going through your link?

    Hi Stacey,

    Brightpoint is the company that handles the orders for Straight Talk/Tracfone, so that error would indicate they may be having momentary issues. Just wait a bit, click on the free shipping link to go to Straight Talk and try again.

    Hi,

    It is not the link, it is the Straight Talk page that is giving this error. Try going to the straight talk website directly and see if you get the error. Also, try using Firefox to see if you still get the error.

    I was instructed by StraightTalk Customer Service, to go to the SUPPORT button, then click on PHONE this will bring you to the seven (7) phones available by Straight Talk.

    If this doesnt work for you, call them at: 1-877-430-2355. I checked in with them for a text phone for my 15 yr old.

    I don’t think this will work because the phone link does not take you to the enter zip page. That page only takes you to the phone manuals and such. I suggest anybody having this issue call that Straight Talk customer service so that they can have this fixed. I called them myself and not surprisingly, the CS was totally oblivious to it.

    @Deloris
    Hi there, Since the 451 is not a full html browser phone, it does not support javascript. That being said, most major sites have mobile versions without javascript. Typically, you are automatically redirected to their mobile versions when accessing through mobile phones. I have been able to successfully access Twitter and Facebook on the 451. As for myspace, try m.myspace.com which i believe is the mobile version. For facebook try m.facebook.com and for twitter, try m.twitter.com. If you find others that you get the javascript error on, google the mobile version of the site to get the mobile address, you can then use that address on the 451

    I have a samsung r451c for straight talk and cannot for the life of me figure out how to set the 4-digit security code…now i understand how to lock the KEYPAD, what i am trying to do is lock the actual PHONE so that others cannot go through my pix, txt, etc…can anyone tell me how to do this?

    The phone should recognize the card on its own. You can easily tell if it’s recognizing it by selecting your MP3 player. If it goes into the player, then it’s recognizing it. What size card do you have? I believe the highest the 451 will support is 4gb. Other possibility is the card being upside down on the phone?

    The only thing you can restrict are the calling capabilities, ie. lock it so that calls can’t be made from it. I don’t think you can restrict the stuff you want to restrict, at least no mention of that in the manual.
